Nyx was the second ever character design project I had undertaken, and the second in a row to be successful! She was the first character design that fell under the Protogen species, and was essentially the earliest possible prototype of what Mania eventually became.
Nyx was also the first time I began writing my own headcanon lore for protogens, and Nyx’s origin story became the very very early beginnings of the protogen lore for Tholin’s “Vulpina”.
